Horan, who has sold over 70 million records as part of the all-conquering One Direction, pays a return visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show today. Next week, he will perform on Jimmy Kimmel Live (October 23) and TODAY (October 26). He was recently nominated for an American Music Award in the New Artist of the Year category. Voting is underway here.

The 2018 tour will also see Horan performing to crowds in Europe, South America and Australasia. As a part of his “Flicker Sessions 2017,” Horan will play a show at Toronto’s Massey Hall on November 1.

Apple Music’s latest short film, On The Record: Flicker, offers insight into Horan's creative process and this watershed moment in his career. Available exclusively on Apple Music, it features candid interviews and behind-the-scenes footage from recording sessions and acoustic rehearsals.

In this feature, Rolling Stone said, “[Flicker] unveils a never-before-seen personal side of Horan to listeners both new and old.” The Associated Press observed, “‘It’s a mature effort…[from Horan], who had a hand in writing every song and plays guitar on several…You won’t be able to resist ‘Slow Hands,’ a pure hit of foot-stomping breezy pop-folk, or the duet ‘Seeing Blind,’ where he and country star Maren Morris meld their voices beautifully. But much of ‘Flicker’ is airy, dreamy and delicate as it explores love with subtle guitar work, like the achingly beautiful ‘Paper Houses,’ the gorgeous, slightly twangy ‘You and Me’ and the excellent Fleetwood Mac-ish ‘Since We’re Alone.’” People selected Flicker as one of its Picks of the Week, and praised the “lush, contemporary ‘Too Much to Ask’ and ‘pop-country confection ‘Seeing Blind.’”

“This Town”, the album’s first single, has sold more than three million track equivalent units globally and combined streams now surpass 450 million worldwide. The follow-up, “Slow Hands”, went straight to Number One in 44 countries. Named one of the “Best Songs of 2017 So Far” by Billboard, it topped the U.S. Top 40 radio chart, and this week has reached its third week at #1 on both the Top 40 and Hot AC charts in Canada. “Slow Hands” has more than 820 million combined streams worldwide and has been certified Platinum in the U.S. and New Zealand, 4X Platinum in Australia, 3X Platinum in Ireland and Canada and 2X Platinum in The Netherlands.
