Watch Noah get ready for the GRAMMY® Awards with Vanity Fair HERE | Listen to his recent interview with NPR’s Weekend Edition Sunday HERE

9 FEBRUARY 2024 (TORONTO, ON) – Today, GRAMMY® nominated, multi-platinum singer and songwriter Noah Kahan reveals the long awaited final release of the Stick Season series titled Stick Season (Forever), out today via Mercury Records/Republic Records/Universal Music Canada—listen HERE. The 30-track collection includes his new highly anticipated single “Forever” and two new collaborations, “You’re Gonna Go Far” with Brandi Carlile and “Paul Revere” with Gregory Alan Isakov. These three new songs join 21 previously released tracks from 2022’s Platinum-Certified Stick Seasonand its 2023 follow-up Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever), as well as critically acclaimed collaborations with Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, Hozier, Sam Fender, Gracie Abrams, and Lizzy McAlpine.

Noah says, “I am excited and kind of sad to be releasing ‘Forever,’ alongside these two dream collaborations with Brandi Carlile and Gregory Alan Isakov. Firstly, I’m grateful and beyond proud to be sharing these two songs with artists that have soundtracked my entire life. Gregory and Brandi have written songs that have carried me through pain, loneliness, dramatic life changes, and the entirety of my career. I am so honored to have them on this final re-release.”

“Forever is a long time. This album cycle has felt like forever, and I’ve loved every second of it. I have loved living in this world. I have never felt more comfortable in my own skin, more proud of what I was representing in my songwriting, and more vindicated by the response to a record that was really an extension of my soul. When I sat down to write ‘Forever’ with Gabe Simon, I didn’t know I would be sealing off the album with it. I thought it might just be a nice standalone single, but as I listened to the story, I realized I was writing about perspective. The idea that a place can remain the exact same physically but becomes totally different as our lives and our experiences change. The word ‘forever’ used to terrify me. I hate finality, there is too much uncertainty and boredom affiliated with ‘the rest of time.’ Now though, I’ve found forever to mean there is limitless possibility. There is so much joy in the world, waiting to be found. That is something that Stick Season has shown me, that this year has shown me. Sometimes it just takes a change in perspective.”

“I hope you enjoy these songs, I hope they continue to find you in the times you most need them, like they did for me. I do not know what is next, but I’m glad I get forever to find it.”

Stick Season (Forever) arrives following Kahan’s star turning presence during this year’s GRAMMY® Week in Los Angeles. First, he accepted the “Rising Star Award” during NMPA and Billboard’s Songwriter Awards, where he performed acoustic versions of his Double Platinum breakout hit “Stick Season” and fan favorite “Growing Sideways.” He also presented Republic Records with the “Label of The Year Award” at Billboard’s Power 100 Party. Not to mention, he performed an explosive, five-song set at Spotify’s Best New Artist Party and debuted “Everywhere, Everything” with Gracie Abrams live for the very first time. He also performed electrifying renditions of “Stick Season” and “Dial Drunk” with the iconic Rickey Minor Band at Clive Davis’ Annual Pre-GRAMMY® Gala. Lastly, on Sunday night to both fans’ and the internet’s excitement, he attended the GRAMMY® Awards with his mom, Lauri, as his date to celebrate his first ever nomination.

Over the past year, GRAMMY-nominated Vermont singer & songwriter Noah Kahan has exploded from his New England roots into the global mainstream and has been touted as one of this year’s biggest and best new artists. At the core of his music are vulnerable lyrics and an unfiltered yet relatable honesty, as the critically acclaimed artist pens songs straight from the heart and cracks jokes with his signature, self-deprecating sense of humor. Across his three albums and an EP, Kahan has garnered global renown for his singular mix of Folk, Americana, and Rock, landing more than five billion streams, a Double Platinum Certification for his hit single “Stick Season,” and collaborations with Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, Brandi Carlile, Hozier, Gregory Alan Isakov, Gracie Abrams, Sam Fender, Lizzy McAlpine, Zach Bryan, Joy Oladokun, and more. His widely adored, Platinum-Certified album, Stick Season, is inspired by his New England roots and earliest musical inspirations—from Paul Simon to Yusuf Islam (Cat Stevens)—conveying a vivid representation of what he loves, fears, and struggles with most passionately. Noah embarked on his sold-out “Stick Season Tour” across North America since the album’s release last year, selling over half-a-million tickets and performing in the biggest venues of his career, with stadium and arena dates already sold-out for his 2024 world tour. In June, he released an extended version of Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever), which surpassed sales of the original and features his single “Dial Drunk.” Next up, Noah will drop the final release of the Stick Season series—Stick Season (Forever), lead by his new single “Forever,” is out February 9th—further solidifying himself as one of the most successful breakout artists of the year.
