OFFSET ALBUM “FATHER OF 4” OUT NOW ON QUALITY CONTROL MUSIC / MOTOWN RECORDS / CAPITOL / UNIVERSAL MUSIC CANADA

"Offset is betting on a breakout moment because he has added an element seen only in flashes throughout the expansive Migos oeuvre: introspection ... his voice softened by vulnerability and his verses edging away from rapid-fire trap imagery toward something more like storytelling." – THE NEW YORK TIMES

"These tracks still slap ... a refreshing pivot -XXL (cover story)

“Up until this point, he’s cemented himself as an artist known for turn-up hits … as the lines blurred between his star image and his life beyond the spotlight, Offset has spent the last year digging deeper into his own history while writing music outside of Migos” –ESQUIRE

22 FEBRUARY 2019 (TORONTO, ON) - Offset has released his long awaited and highly anticipated solo album "Father of 4" on Quality Control Music / Motown / Capitol Records / Universal Music Canada, the country's leading music company. This is the third and final solo project from the Migo’s trio that's riding on the wave of success from Quavo’s solo project, Quavo Huncho which reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200, and Takeoff’s stellar album The Last Rocket, which awarded him his first solo single to chart Billboard Hot 100 with "Last Memory".

Offset allows his vulnerability about family, relationships and vices to show through unlike any work he’s done before, giving readers an introspective peek at the reality of his life and times. The albums first single "Red Room" sets the tone for this masterpiece, as the song and its visuals take you on a journey through some of his most formative and also troubling moments of his adolescence to adulthood. In the last year, hits like “Ric Flair Drip” from collaborative project Without Warning with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin skyrocketed the charts to become RIAA Certified 3x platinum, and the viral sensation “Zeze” alongside Kodak Black and Travis Scott took the internet by storm and has gone on to become RIAA Certified 2x platinumOffset’s awe-inspiring cover of July’s issue of Rolling Stone alongside wife Cardi B marked the artists second Rolling Stone cover in less than a year.

During Paris Fashion Week this past January, Offset stepped out in bold style amassing multiple Vogue stories, and ultimately seizing the title of Best Dressed Man. He was spotted throughout the streets wearing elite fashion brands such as Gunther ParisBalenciagaA-COLD-WALL*, and Louis Vuitton. Having just made his runway debut during the Jeremy Scott show at New York Fashion Week this past September, Offset made yet another memorable runway appearance walking in Virgil Abloh’s Off-White “Public Television” Fall ‘19 show in a much talked about floor-length lilac puffer jacket with built in cross body bag.

This past year of 2018 was certainly the year of Migos made possible with the release of their sophomore album, Culture II, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart, and is now RIAA Certified 2x Platinum with over 5.5 billion global streams along with a sold out arena tour with Drake, memorable moments like performing on SNL and karaoking with James Corden for Carpool Karaoke.  The anticipation and press flurry around “Father of 4” seems to be an early indicator that 2019 will be that of Offset’s.
