20 JUNE 2025 (TORONTO, ON)  — Today, GRAMMY® Award-nominated, multi-platinum superstar Offsetmakes a strong summer return with “Bodies” featuring fellow Atlanta rap iconoclast J.I.D., out now on Motown Records/Universal Music Canada. Produced by Vinylz and FNZ, the smooth track features an iconic sample: Drowning Pool’s 2001 hit, “Bodies.” Listen HERE. The new single also comes with a surreal yet dapper video edited by Mikey Rare, with styling by SheShe Pendleton. Watch HERE

“’Bodies’ is one of them ones I had to really take my time with. It’s about standing on who you are, coming out the mud, and being confident in the face of adversity. I’m always evolving, and I don’t fit in a box as an artist,” said Offset. “I’ve been cooking this up for a minute and I’m just getting started. J.I.D. is my guy and had the perfect energy to match ‘Bodies.’ Stay tuned because we going up.”

“Bodies” brings high-level intensity weaving together a haunting choir over a fresh take on the known sample (“Let the bodies hit the floor”). Over propulsive drums and an ominous piano, Offsetshowcases his bold artistry while rapping about his destiny: “I got choices this shit look like crayons … I fold a million dollars in two pockets …  Sleeping and dreaming, talking to the rocket, he told me, ‘Go up,’ I told him that I got him.” J.I.D., complements “Bodies” with his own strikingly dynamic verse.

For the “Bodies” video filmed in L.A., ONDA (Pusha T, Big Sean, Megan Thee Stallion) matches the song’s scope and tone, creating a rich visual that feels like a living painting. In style Offset leads a desert runway where suave models march down a red carpet in front of the candlelit choir. The grim reaper looms behind J.I.D., and Offsetoversees cult-like devotees to receive his crown while seated on an elaborate throne.

Offset’s latest follows his ice-cold Valentine’s Day drop “TEN.” He also made a triumphant return to Hot Ones where he discussed his mindset as a solo artist and the origins of his forays into acting — watch HERE. Before that, Offset closed 2024 with a pair of year-end gifts: his surprise Juice WRLD collab “Celebration” — from the legend’s final posthumous album The Party Never Ends — and his hypnotic solo single “Swing My Way.” The song came with a stunning music video directed by Kid Art co-starring supermodel Anok Yai . ABOUT OFFSET:
Praised for his blistering flows, pummeling anthems, and theatrical showmanship, Offset is one of the most influential GRAMMY-nominated rap icons from the South. He reaffirmed that status with his last project, SET IT OFF, a sophomore solo album that's dynamic yet deeply personal. Checking in at 21 songs, it's Offset in all his thematic and stylistic multitudes. For the critically acclaimed, smooth Don Tolliver-assisted “WORTH IT” (which the duo performed on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon), Offset flexes his diversity as an artist willing to experiment. But beneath the dripped-out machismo, there's an evolving father of five learning to reckon with the man he's becoming. Oscillating between invincibility and vulnerability, SET IT OFF is just the latest step in a musical and personal evolution that creates both artistic gems and personal catharsis. As part of the supergroup Migos, Offset became a force in pop culture, with songs like "Bad and Boujee" and albums like Culture cementing him as a legend in the making. As he helped re-popularize the triplet rhythm and collected over 40 platinum plaques as part of the trio, Offset later cultivated a reputation as a legend in his own right. He had standout guest verses on Kodak Black's "Zeze" and Tyga's "Taste," which is Diamond certified. In 2019, he reinforced his solo career with Father of Four, which included the 3x platinum hit record “Clout.” Now, Offset is racing from the man he was to the man he’s supposed to be — resolute, reflective, and relentlessly energetic. His influence transcends music into fashion, from gracing runways and designing his own merch and videos, to appearing in shows like NCIS Los Angeles and Baby Shark. To date Offset has amassed over 2 billion streams as a solo artist in the U.S. alone.

ABOUT J.I.D.:
Born and raised in East Atlanta, Grammy nominated J.I.D grew up on his parents’ collection of classic funk/soul LPs, and broke onto the scene with his 2015 EP, DiCaprio. He was spotted by J. Cole who promptly signed to his Dreamville imprint on Interscope Records. Soon after the signing, J.I.D made his major-label debut with the widely celebrated The Never Story (2017) which was followed by the critically acclaimed album DiCaprio 2 (2018). The sophomore project received major looks from press and tastemakers like Rolling Stone, Billboard, FADER, NPR and helped induct the rapper to the year’s XXL’s Freshmen class. A year later, J.I.D continued his momentum as rap’s most exciting additions with stellar contributions on Dreamville’s Platinum certified compilation Revenge of the Dreamers III which went on to debut #1 on the Billboard Top 200 charts and received multiple GRAMMY nominations including “Best Rap Album” and “Best Rap Performance.” J.I.D then worked on his follow up effort The Forever Story (2022) all while selling out venues and festival stages across the world and lending his rap stylings to peer projects including the Grammy nominated Planet HER by Doja Cat as well as Dua Lipa, Denzel Curry and more recently Ab-Soul, John Legend and New Jeans. The Forever Story debuted at #12 on the Billboard Hot 200 has been critically acclaimed as a “classic” (Clash) and one of the year’s “best rap albums” (GQ, The Ringer, NPR, Complex). Almost a year after its release, a cut from the record — the infectious track “Surround Sound” — soar to viral acclaim with its own TikTok challenge and ended the year in the #1 position across Billboard Viral 50, TikTok Viral and TikTok 50. The song featuring Atlanta natives 21 Savage and Baby Tate re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 charts and is certified 3x Platinum. A highly anticipated live performer, J.I.D has sold out venues across the globe and played some of the biggest festival stages including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Splendour in The Grass and more. J.I.D’s nimble, head-nodding lyricism and lightning fast flow has awarded him a loyal and cult-like fanbase and his dedication to perfecting the art is sportsman-like, leaving room for him to be one of rap’s greatest in the making.
