PHANTOGRAM UNVEILS STUNNING "FUNERAL PYRE" VIDEO (NSFW)

24 AUGUST 2017 (Toronto, ON) – New York electro-pop duo Phantogram have unveiled the stunning video for "Funeral Pyre" a track from their latest album Three released in October 2016 via Republic/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company.  The cinematic promo is a portrait of the band's adopted home of Los Angeles, a city seemingly intent on slowly destroying itself.

Director Gianluca Minucci describes the video as "a phantasmagoric journey, from dawn to dusk, with people, sites, and situations of Los Angeles. All shot from a car passenger's point of view, the video is a phantom drive in a land of nowhere, where love meets grief, loneliness, violence and desperation. It's a tragic, Pynchonian elegy, of a world destined to a destroying, but perhaps purifying, fire. A descent to hell, the swan song of a city that celebrates its funeral pyre." Watch the video HERE.

The band are making their way to the iconic Reading & Leeds Festivals this weekend to wrap up the European leg of their tour, before heading back to play some headline dates and hitting the road with Arcade Fire.  See the details of the four Canadian dates below.
