ROD STEWART COLLABORATES WITH DNCE FOR A BRAND NEW RE-IMAGINED RECORDING OF HIS SIGNATURE ANTHEM “DA YA THINK I’M SEXY”

24 AUGUST 2017 (TORONTO, ON) – Kicking off a newly minted partnership with Republic Records, Sir Rod Stewart will join forces with multi-platinum selling group DNCE for the release of a strikingly re-imagined version of one of the most iconic dance tracks of all time, Stewart's “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy”. To celebrate the single’s release, Stewart and DNCE will perform “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy” for the first time ever at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards on August 27. Preview the track here.

Originally released in 1978 on his classic ninth album Blondes Have More Fun, “Da Ya Think I’m Sexy” stands out as one of Rod Stewart’s signature songs, peaking at #1 in six countries, including Canada and the US – where it reigned at the top of the US Billboard Hot 100 chart four weeks in February 1979 and was named among Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Songs of All Time.”
