(TORONTO – 15 July, 2013) – Critically acclaimed chart-topper, Serena Ryder has earned her first career Platinum Certification for her November 2012 release, Harmony (Serenadar Source / Universal Music Canada). The album’s incredible success is testament to the meteoric rise of her first two singles - “Stompa” & “What I Wouldn’t Do” on the SoundScan and radio charts. To cap an already fantastic week, Ryder will make her late-night American talk show debut on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno this Wednesday (July 17) and release her latest iTunes Session, available for pre-order. In just a few short months, Harmony shot to Gold Certification (Feb 2013) and five months later, sales have doubled and Ryder is celebrating her first ever Platinum album.
