 3 APRIL 2017 (Toronto, ON) - Sigrid’s arrival has been extraordinary.  After storming SXSW and accumulating over 8 million Spotify streams for her debut single in just one month, Sigrid now drops the epic video for “Don’t Kill My Vibe”, directed by acclaimed duo J.A.C.K (Christine and The Queens).  Watch the video HERE.  Sigrid’s debut EP is set for release this summer on Island Records / Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company.  Sigrid’s remarkable song writing ability as a skilled lyricist is emphasized with hard-hitting and empowering words laced over unexpected and expansive melodies.   She wrote her first song at 16-years-old in only two weeks – when her older brother challenged her to write an original song and perform it at a local gig with him.  Now, the Norwegian talent has a huge summer ahead with festival appearances at The Great Escape, Latitude and Wilderness.  Originally from a tiny town in Norway, Sigrid consistently proves to have a mind, attitude and voice bigger than most 20-year-olds.  Catapulted into the burgeoning music scene when she moved to Bergen at 18, Sigrid began as a high school student self-releasing her first song and dropping a second track that was immediately playlisted on national radio.  Now signed to Island Records and currently splitting her time between Bergen and London, Sigrid has quietly been creating a world which emboldens her followers, through the power of the song.
