THE 1975 ANNOUNCE 10TH ANNIVERSARY VINYL REISSUE OF ‘I LIKE IT WHEN YOU SLEEP, FOR YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL YET SO UNAWARE OF IT’
22 JANUARY 2026 (TORONTO, ON) — The 1975 today announce the tenth anniversary edition of their seminal album ‘I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it’.
To celebrate the milestone, the band will be releasing a new limited edition pink vinyl housed in six panel triple gateford packaging with alternative artwork. In addition, the new version of the iconic record features 17 12” x 12” art cards, each representing a song on the album with lyrics on the reverse.
The ‘I like it when you sleep…’ tenth anniversary edition will be released on Friday 27th February via Dirty Hit. You can pre-order now HERE.
Recorded in Los Angeles and produced by Healy & Daniel alongside collaborator Mike Crossey, the band’s second album distilled their love of 80’s sonics into something unarguably modern and served as the perfect juxtaposition to their monochrome debut.
Upon release, ‘I like it when you sleep…’ debuted at number one on both UK Official Album Charts and US Billboard Hot 200 while also topping the charts in Canada, Australia and New Zealand too.
Formed in Manchester in 2002, The 1975 have firmly established themselves as the defining band of their generation with their distinctive aesthetic, passionate fanbase and unique sonic approach.
Their last album, ‘Being Funny In A Foreign Language’, was released in October 2022 before the band completed their ambitious, critically acclaimed ‘At Their Very Best’ and ‘Still… At Their Very Best’ world tours in support. Last summer, the band headlined the legendary Glastonbury Festival.
