Canada’s multi-platinum vocal group The Tenors, featuring Clifton Murray, Fraser Walters, Remigio Pereira and Victor Micallef, announced today the release of their highly anticipated second studio album, LEAD WITH YOUR HEART on October 9 through Universal Music Canada (UMC), the country’s leading music company. LEAD WITH YOUR HEART is a 12-track album that stretches the boundaries of classical crossover by combining classic songs, modern tunes and Spanish and French world music. From cover features such as Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young” to the inspirational anthem, “Amazing Grace” and one of the most recognizable and heroic Tenor arias, “Nessun Dorma”, the diverse track list features an eclectic mix of pop favourites and classical staples along with new compositions written and co-written by The Tenors. “This album was a true labour of love for us,” says Walters. “We collaborated with some amazing producers and songwriters to really infuse each song with a unique sound – elements of which will be familiar to our fans and others that are totally original.“ Collaborating on this album with The Tenors were world-renowned producers and co-writers including Walter Afanasieff (Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Michael Jackson), Bob Ezrin (Rod Stewart, Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd) and Marco Marinangeli (Josh Groban, Il Divo, Placido Domingo). On the heels of today’s announcement, The Tenors also confirm a newly penned US deal with fellow Canadian and 16-time Grammy Award winner David Foster, the new Chairman of Verve Music Group. “I’m thrilled to welcome The Tenors as a member of the Verve family.
