The 13-song set includes three original works by Lady Gaga — including the buzzing single “RUNWAY” with Doechii — alongside exclusives and favorites from a lineup of artists including SIENNA SPIRO, Miley Cyrus, Dua Lipa, Olivia Dean, SZA, Laufey, and more. 20th Century Studios’ The Devil Wears Prada 2, which hits theaters today May 1, is one of the most anticipated sequels in recent history. The film’s first teaser was the most viewed comedy trailer in 15 years, according to Forbes, while the first full trailer amassed 222 million views in its first 24 hours, becoming 20th Century Studios’ most viewed trailer of all time.
SIENNA SPIRO contributes another highlight: “Material Lover,” written exclusively for the film. The ascendant U.K. talent has been on an incredible run of late, lodging each of her last three heart-wrenching ballads on the Billboard Hot 100 (including Top 20 hit “Die On This Hill”) and leaving critics and crowds stunned by her staggering vocals during her recent sold-out U.S. headlining tour. Twenty years after making their iconic turns as Miranda, Andy, Emily and Nigel—Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci return to the fashionable streets of New York City and the sleek offices of Runway magazine in the eagerly awaited sequel to the 2006 phenomenon that defined a generation. The film reunites the original main cast with director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna, and introduces an all-new runway of characters including Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, and B.J. Novak.
