(Toronto, ON – 26 September 2013) – Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading Music Company, today announces the addition of New York-based rock quartet, The Pretty Reckless to its vibrant roster. Their brand new track, Going To Hell, has just hit radio airwaves and can be previewed by stream here and is available for sale at the iTunes store here. On September 20th, The Pretty Reckless kicked off a major headline tour which includes dates across Canada and the U.S. and extends through mid-November. The Pretty Reckless are Taylor Momsen (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Ben Phillips (lead guitar, backing vocals), Mark Damon (bass) and Jamie Perkins (drums). Taylor Momsen comments, "It feels awesome to start anew with Universal Music Canada and we are looking forward to a great run of shows there on this tour!” While touring, the band are also working tirelessly on their forthcoming studio album, which fans can look forward to in 2014. The Pretty Reckless formed in 2009, released their debut album Light Me Up in 2010, and follow up EP Hit Me Like a Man in 2012. The quartet has sold over 250,000 albums and 1 million digital tracks. They have played shows supporting: Evanescence, Guns N' Roses and Marilyn Manson in addition to headline runs in both the U.S. and abroad.
