24 FEBRUARY 2015- TORONTO, ON – CCMA Award winning duo, The Stellas announce the release of their upcoming album, It Wouldn’t Be This via Back40 Entertainment/Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The autobiographical title track, “It Wouldn’t Be This” written by Brad and MaryLynne Stella, speaks to the married couple’s journey from small-town Ontario to now residing in Nashville living out their dream of making music together. The release date of this record will mark 20 years of the couple being together. “We love being in the studio together, our chemistry of love and music comes together and the respect we have for each other as artists and humans is paramount,” Brad reflects. “We are very fortunate to be able to produce, engineer and mix our records in our own studio and have creative control over the entire process while having amazing support from our record label and creative partners.  We couldn't be happier.” Brad and MaryLynne co-wrote 8 of the 10 tracks on the record along with songwriters such as Fred Wilhelm (Faith Hill, Little Big town, Randy Travis) and John Scott Sherrill (Patty Loveless, Josh Turner). Having done most of the tracking on the previous records themselves, with Brad holding the producer reins, for this album The Stellas brought a full band into the studio to record this album with them. It Wouldn’t Be This will be The Stellas’ first internationally-released album. “In some ways, we’re making a first impression all over again,” MaryLynne says. “This is the album we always wanted to make. This is us.”   It Wouldn’t Be This Tracklisting  One Of Us Gravy It Wouldn’t Be This Baba O'Riley Never Be Enough Know Any Better The Man Upstairs Stay Awhile Fond Of You Make It Last Since the release of the duo’s debut album The Stellas (2012), Brad and MaryLynne have received the CCMA Award for Duo Of The Year (2013) and Video Of The Year for “In This House”.
