27 JUNE 2025 (TORONTO, ON) – Alternative rock newcomer Rohin steps on to the scene with the release of “Someday” today via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company. The single arrives as a transcendent rock song about the mess of realizations that hit you on the taxi ride home after a long night out.

Written with contributions from Valley frontman Rob Laska over a 2.5-year span, the single and video cohesively capture the chaos and uncertainty that comes as you face the age of adolescence in modern society. Rohin’s genre bending sound is complimented by his sonically dynamic vocals and unapologetically authentic lyrics.
"After years of writing and re-writing, it finally feels done," reflects Rohin. "It’s one of my most vulnerable songs, and I know my 19-year old self would be so proud."

“Someday” arrives as the first track off the forthcoming sophomore EP slated for release later this year. The single serves as follow up to Rohin’s debut EP follow me down released in 2024. The EP featured standout track “Sadlove” released in conjunction with an accompanying video and live acoustic version.
About Rohin:
Inspired by his own coming-of-age in the post-modern digital era, Rohin writes to make sense of the changing world around him. Enamoured with music from a young age, at 17 he turned his passion into a full-time commitment. By 18 he moved on his own to Toronto to focus completely on songwriting and music. He spent the next couple years focusing on finding himself, his sound, and how the two intertwine.
Inspired by the British indie rock scene and the synths and soundscapes found in ambient music, he has found himself in a nostalgic and dark yet hopeful sound. He writes music that expresses his reality -
centred around the ache of being young in the city. His melancholic lyrics explore themes of existentialism, loneliness, hedonism, and the mess of becoming. Now, at 21, Rohin sets his sights on 2025 with the release of some of his most intentional, honest, and cohesive music to date.
