19 JUNE 2026 (TORONTO, ON) – Following the release of “Chanel,” TyriqueOrDie returns today with “6IXSIDE,” a club-ready celebration of Toronto and the energy that defines it. Emerging from the city’s underground rave circuit and the Toronto Hardcore scene, the track transforms summer nights, nightlife culture and hometown pride into a record built for packed dancefloors and long nights outside.
Out now via Universal Music Canada, “6IXSIDE” is produced by Jon Santana and captures the feeling of a Toronto summer at full volume. Built around an instantly memorable hook and packed with references to neighbourhoods, nightlife and city culture, the track invites listeners into TyriqueOrDie’s world while celebrating the energy that continues to inspire it. From Forest Hill to Queen Street, “6IXSIDE” feels less like a tribute and more like an invitation.
“After ‘Toronto Funhouse,’ the city really embraced me and helped me build a foundation for what the TyriqueOrDie sound represents. I felt like I owed the city another anthem,” says TyriqueOrDie.
With “6IXSIDE,” TyriqueOrDie shifts the focus from the late-night world introduced on “Chanel” to the city that helped shape it. Following a recent Hot Freestyle performance of “Chanel,” he continues to build a world that exists as much on stage as it does on record.
