(10 February 2015 - Toronto, ON) - Universal Music Canada (UMC), the country’s leading Music Company and renowned Toronto based electronic label FMLY Records are excited to announce a partnership whereby UMC will exclusively distribute FMLY Records’ award winning repertoire.  The deal was announced today by Steve Nightingale, Director, Marketing & Business Development, Universal Music Canada and FMLY Records music veterans Seb Webber and Brandon Ginsberg. FMLY Records is a Canadian music company that prides itself on outstanding and original talent.  They have a prominent presence in the electronic world and partner themselves with the finest musical talent to create, develop and produce timeless and consistent music.  Some of their diverse roster of artists includes The Prodigy, Rusko, Ferry Corsten, New World Punx, Guiliano Rascan, Cyzon, and Plain Language.  Both Webber and Ginsberg have built their reputations as dynamic music managers with Red Light Management, based in Los Angeles, which has helped establish FMLY Records within the music industry both locally and internationally, as a trailblazing independent music company. “We are excited to announce our partnership with the FMLY Records team, who are such influential and important international EDM experts,” said Nightingale.  “The independent leaning dance scene is long overdue for a powerful label champion; Universal Music Canada/FMLY are prepared to fill that void through creating ventures like this new partnership. This FMLY partnership gives international DJs and Producers a solid foundation in Canada, one of the scene’s most essential markets”.
