VANESSA MARIE CARTER RELEASES POWERHOUSE NEW SINGLE “BLESS MY HEART”

27 OCTOBER 2017 (Toronto, ON) – Today, Vanessa Marie Carter announces her major label debut with the release of her new single, “Bless My Heart” via Universal Music Canada (UMC), the country’s leading music company. The empowering female anthem, “Bless My Heart” was written by Hilary Lindsay (“Jesus Take The Wheel”, “Girl Crush”, “Million Reasons”, “Blue Ain’t Your Color”) and produced by Mickey Jack Cones (Dustin Lynch, Jason Aldean, Lionel Richie) and is available via all digital retailers now. Accompanying the single is the “Bless My Heart” music video, directed by Toronto-based photographer and videographer, Ryan Nolan.

Fueled by her inherited passion for performing and country music, Vanessa Marie Carter is a force to be reckoned with. Vanessa loves all kinds of country from traditional to new age and is continually inspired by some of her biggest musical influences, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, Eric Church, Cam and Kacey Musgraves. No stranger to the music world, Vanessa got her start in musical theatre at a young age and began an indie career five years ago.The past few years have seen Vanessa’s music career on an upward trajectory, from performing in her hometown of Oakville’s Moonshine Café Vanessa went on to winning the Sirius XM Emerging Artist Showcase at Canada’s largest country music festival, Boots and Hearts. From a field of over 270 applicants, Vanessa came first in fan voting winning the live singing showcase competition receiving an opening slot with Chase Rice and a single release with Universal Music Canada.
