Official Lyric Video Premieres Today on Canadian Beats
01 September 2017 (Toronto, ON) – Today, platinum-selling Toronto production duo Young Wolf Hatchlings release their new song, “Right Where You Are” via Universal Music Canada, the country’s leading music company, and premiere the official lyric video on Canadian Beats.
“Right Where You Are” was born out of a Young Wolf Hatchlings recording session with the Horses Heaven songwriting team at Electric Feel Recording Studios in West Hollywood, California. EDM artist Gazzo added his signature beat to the piano and vocal track, creating the base of what would become the duo’s latest single. Over the course of two months, Young Wolf Hatchlings worked the production of the song in their Toronto studio. With the goal of maintaining the organic acoustic sound from the upright piano, YWH blended their indie-pop electronic sound with Gazzo’s edgy EDM vibes and created another hard-hitting banger for the clubs. “Right Where You Are”, with its positive lyrics, is the latest addition to their catalogue of energetic, uplifting songs that Young Wolf Hatchlings are known for.ᐧ
“Right Where You Are” follows the July releases of “Ain’t No City” and “Run Run”, the first two tracks off their highly-anticipated debut EP coming in early 2018. The lyric video for “Run Run”, which premiered on Herb.co, has amassed almost 80,000 views and the song was added to both the New Music Friday Canada playlist on Spotify and the HOT Electronic Tracks playlist on Apple Music.
Young Wolf Hatchlings began as part of a team of up-and-coming producers working out of Dream House Studios in Toronto, the studio best known for producing work by The Weeknd, July Talk, Holy Fuck, Young Rival, METZ and many others. The Dream House family took the Hatchlings under their wing, mentoring the talented duo, helping to sharpen their obvious talent and skill. Within a couple of years, Young Wolf Hatchlings released their first single, “You Lovely You”, which garnered them critical praise and their first MMVA nomination. That same year, their collaboration with Fall Out Boy on the single, “Uma Thurman”, reached #1 on iTunes.
